For all you dads out there who have been tormented by the word “dad-bod”, there is a new apparel company in town ready to set the record straight. We are talking about the apparel company reinventing the game- DadBod Apparel.
DadBod Apparel is an apparel company aimed at promoting a healthy active lifestyle for moms and dads. The company was started towards the end of 2017 when Anthony (the founder) and his wife, Katherine, found out they were pregnant with their first child, Hudson. Both have always been into fitness and staying healthy so when they found out Anthony’s friends started giving him a hard time and telling him he would need to start working on his ‘DadBod.’
A light bulb went off at that time as there had to be a market for simple, fashionable clothing for dad’s that had a brand message of staying healthy not only for yourself, but for your family. DadBod Apparel was born- all puns intended.
There mission is to make dads and moms proud to wear their apparel- their comfortable AF apparel. No joke, we tried some of their stuff and it is soft, durable, and easy for any activity. Their apparel is about showcasing that yes you’re a parent, but not making it over-the-top (in your face) or cheesy in design.
Additionally, the branding behind the apparel is to just lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle with your family. Whether that’s going to the gym, going for a hike, playing a sport or just going for a walk – get outside and be active with your kids. This benefits not only you, but your family as well.
