With a name like theirs, one would expect nothing but a legit way to oil up that beard and hit the road. Our crew wanted to give it a try and see just how strong their game was in the beard oil making game.

Their crew kicked our crew a bottle of oil and said give this a go so we could see just what they are up to. Let’s get after it!

INITAL IMPRESSIONS

Ohhhh Can-a-daaaa…..yes the box has arrived. The crew from Beard Game Strong sent us Cali boys their flagship product- Signature Blend Beard Oil from over the Canadian Border where they are headquartered. We love so much about Canada already that finding a beard oil to try from the Maple HQ was an added bonus.

As far as the product goes- the branding, bottle, and vibe of Beard Game Strong is awesome. We have to admit we here at duuude put a lot of value not only on the product but on the crew behind it. We must say these dudes are some of the coolest duuudes we have connected with. They are passionate about the oil, hold themselves (heck even us) accountable to the review process and are in it to make a great product. We could tell by the communication and the delivered 1oz bottle of beard oil that these guys are for real.

The bottle labeling was clear and to the point- showcasing how to use the oil and what their oil is made from. No gimmicks and no second guessing what you are putting in your face. 

Our initial duuude impression: let’s get some beard game strong oil on our beards shall we? 

TESTING IT OUT

If you look at Beard Game Strong’s FAQ section there is a question that asks if they ever test their oil on animals? Their answer is “no”- until now. Our team of beasts went savage on this bottle and put it through the freaking gauntlet of testing. Ok, ok, not the best lead-in on a review- we get it.  For the record we love our pets and stand behind those who don’t test on animals- ok back the the review.

Our crew dove into BGS (Beard Game Strong) Signature Blend Beard Oil for this review.

First we followed BGS’ recommendation to apply 2-3 drops of beard oil into our hands and message into the beard- preferably fresh out the shower or when the beard is sort of damp. The bottles dropper helps with the exact amount of oil one would like for the various beard lengths. Our crew has beards that range from “forgot to shave” in a week to “no idea” what a “beard trim” is when it comes to lengths. So we tested out many drops and ratios in the review. 

When we applied the oil our noses quickly grabbed the blend of smells including vanilla, citrus, spice, and sandalwood. All infused well together and was not overpowering to the point where we were put off. The blend of all natural oils filled with vitamins felt instantly refreshing on our beard/skin. 

After applying the oil in the morning, we gave it a few solid hours. 4 hours flew by and we touched our beards to find they were still nice a smooth, with minimal oil residue on our fingers. Oh and we accidentally wiped our hands on our pants after- fortunate for us there were no stains left from the oil! 

At the end of the day our beards still reflected the initial oil application and our faces felt moisturized, nourished, and overall kick a$$.

This beard oil is legit. Simply put it rocks.
