You are a hardworking dude. Heck, some even say you are a gentleman. In today’s world being both hardworking AND a gentleman is a double win in our book. While that’s great and all we had to ask, how do you smell though? Weird question, we know, but one thing that can turn people off is a hardworking gentleman who smells like the garbage disposal. Well, gents you are in luck because the crew over at Hardworking Gentleman came out with a line of products to keep your swag going from sunrise to sun down.

We all need basic essentials to keep our pits from smelling and our hair from looking like something birds make a home out of. Basic essentials like soap, shampoo, and detotorant are a great place to start. Hardworking Gentleman covers all those basic needs in a lineup of products that any guy would want to use. Their crew kicked our crew a lineup for our morning routine and asked us to put it to the test. We gladly accepted and reviewed their lineup of men’s products.
INITIAL IMPRESSION
Our crew was shipped the following products from Hardworking Gentleman (HWG) for the review:

Natural Tea Tree Charcoal Deodorant
When we first opened the box to find the above mentioned products we had an instant connection with the brand. The colors of the packaging, the logo, the clearly labeled products were awesome to kick off the review with.
The aromas that came from each product could be smelled with each whiff of the goods. The smells felt like we were in the woods yet refreshing and crisp at the same time. The bottles, the bars of soap, even the deodorant bottles had a clean and well thought out packaging and composition.

TESTING IT OUT
Ok so first we have to say sorry to the crew at HWG for how long the review took. But in our defense we wanted to give each product an actual test so we used each of the products until we completely ran out. That’s a heck of an amount of showers, gym runs, showers, more showers, nights out, days at work, things guys do, other stuff, and more. Needless to say we gave the HWG line of products a solid run.
First up: Natural Shampoo & Body Wash
One place to start when getting your shower game on is the with your hair and body. If you’re like us, you’ve got a lot of hair real estate to cover. From beard to head to leg hair (TMI?) we need something that can handle it all. The hassle-free clear hair and body wash does the trick. Featuring organic aloe leaf and vegetable glycerin, this simple and well balanced wash helps knock off dirt from ALLL places and is tough on grime. No gimmicks-just a feeling of refresh and pine fresh feeling for the day ahead.
Duuude score: 10/10 - the scent plus refreshing feeling after over 30 days of use was phenomenal. Beard was soft, hair was itch free and the ingredients were simply on point.
Next up: Forest Tonic Soap & Tea Tree Charcoal Soap
Wait...so doesn’t the body wash exclude the need for a bar of soap? You could say that or you could find that options are a good thing. While the body wash can do it all- we found that the wash was great for washing beard and head hair and the bar of both Tonic Soap and Tea Tree Charcoal soap was heaven for scrubbing the body clean. The woodsy soap bar is as fresh as the outdoors and the scent of juniper berries (in the Forest Tonic) is raising the scent game. Their organic recipe of berries helps exfoliate (get the funk off) while also moisturizing their skin (so it’s not like petting sandpaper). The Charcoal soap contains organic cocoa butter, Shea butter and plantain leaf to help make your skin shine like the sun. Both soaps are made with all organic ingredients you’d find on earth- making them both sure fire bars of soap to go with.
Duuude score: 9/10 - Hitting on all cydkers this soap is almost perfect. The one ding was the dried berries at times were a bit too hard on the skin but other than that, this soap is legit AF
Last (but not least) up: Natural Pinewood Deodorant & Natural Tea Tree Charcoal Deodorant
No joke we were skeptical about this deodorant (heck any non traditional method to be honest), but we put on our big boy pants and tried it out. The all natural and simple odor fighting deodorant is non-irritating, and formulated for sensitive skin by using natural skin soothing emollients like Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, and nourishing Vitamin E. The charcoal blend is designed to absorb toxins and oils out of the body while fighting excess moisture and bacteria to create healthier skin. Essential oils of Tea Tree, Sweet Orange, and Bergamot had our crew smelling like a Tea Tree mixed with notes of citrus and slight spice. Both scents provided a different scent option while both provided a safe alternative to the gunk we had been using prior.
Duuude score: 10/10 - We have heard the negatives about durability with all natural deodorants but these sure cut the crap and gave an ultimate cover for the work ahead
The review concluded with a legit score of 29/30 which is better than we did in school growing up. But with quality, clean, simple ingredients the line of products but HWG is simply on point.
