INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Step one starts off with the first key item- the duffel! Our crew in the past has reviewed the Duffel Line from Peak Design and we suggest using their bags as they offer storage, room, and clean designs. You can check that review out here!

Step 2: Open up the duffel bag and start laying out items you plan on packing next to the bag to gain a sense of what you are wanting to bring.

Step 3: Starting with the shoes, place those in bag on bottom and lay on their sides with the soles against the walls of the bag.

Step 4: Starting with your pants, fold the legs on top of each other and roll them as tight as you can starting from the top of the pants down to the end of legs.

Step 5: Begin rolling your shirts in a similar fashion, trying to get them as tight as you can. If the shirts are thin enough, you can place shirts on top of each other, and then roll from there.

Step 6: Once all apparel items have been rolled up, place them around the bottom of the bag in between the shoes. Once the bottom layer is filled, start placing the rolled items in top of the bottom layer in alternating directions creating a crisscross pattern. Once all apparel items are in fill any extra holes or open gaps with underwear, socks, belt, etc.

Step 7: Once all items are in, lastly place the grooming bagged items on top. We suggest using a travel grooming back that can be zipped and is waterproof. Once on top, zip up that duffel and get outta town!

duuude TIP:

If your worried about your shoes touching your apparel, consider filling the shoes with your socks and then turn your jeans inside out and roll them. Place those around the shoes to keep the exterior of your pants fresh and clean.
