Top 7 Beach Day Packing Must Grabs

Don’t beach without it.

Summer is upon us and every year new styles, new gear, and new summer essentials hit the inter-webs like a stage 5 clinger. Our crew found 7 cool must haves for any beach outing that you just can’t go without. While we don’t cover everything you need for the beach (ya know like sunscreen, shades, or flip flops), we do hit ya with 7 cool finds to keep in mind before heading to the water!

Vivida Lifestyles

Our crew recently found a brand called Vivida Lifestyle and we had no idea we needed this so bad until we tried their lineup of beachwear. They feature a lineup of changing robes, poncho towels, hoodies made from Neoprene, and all of this is designed and made to help the environment. Early change into or out of swimwear, stay dry while enjoying the sun and water sports you love- all with Vivida Lifestyles!

Foco Hats

We love FOCO’s vast lineup of sports apparel and when we saw they made straw and other hats with our favorite teams on them we knew we had to get our domes in one. Straw hats keep the sun of your face and neck and why not wear one with your favorite NFL, NHL, MLB, or NBA team on it? Yeah- grab a hat and show off your pride while strutting the boardwalk.

Price: Varies by Hat on FOCO

YETI Cooler

A cooler at a beach party, backyard bbq, or back of a truck heading out to the campsite is a must have. We have tried other coolers but when it comes to versatility, colors, and new designs (like their backpacks), you can’t beat a YETI. These coolers are top grade ice keepers, can be washed when dirty, beat up when needed, and still show up ready for any adventure. Mix and match from different sizes all summer long and keep the patty going.

Koozies

Nothing kills the beach vibe like a warm drink. So, if you’re going to bring a cold six pack, some refreshing bubbly water, or even some canned moonshine, you will need something to slide that can into to keep cold in the hot sun. Our top two slim can Koozies have to be either the YETI Slim Can Colster and the BrüMate Slim Insulated Hopsulator that you can grab on Amazon or their respective sites. to test/try out. There are other slim koozies or even full size can Koozies on the market but to choose from! When picking your next Koozie though, be sure it has:

  • Double insulated walls (to avoid condensation on the outside of the Koozie)

  • Easy to clean design (nobody wants a 5 part Koozie to clean)

  • Steel or aluminum inner (cause the rest is simply junk)

Price: Average cost $25

Kanga Case

Ok this portable drink cooler legit works. The dudes from Kanga came up with an innovative way to not schlep around heavy AF coolers to a backyard gathering, tailgate, or boating day on the lake. The crew over at KANGA developed an iceless cooler, that wraps your 6/12/24 pack of -insert any cold beverage here- like a bear holding a cub, for hours of nice cool refreshing drink game access. Slots for an ice pack if you so desire, simply slide the cold 6 pack into the cooler, zip and go. Easy access port on the top let’s you reach in and grab a cold one while saving the other drinks from the elements.

Price: $44 on Amazon

Drinks

Everything is in a can now. Beer always has been, but now you can bring wine, mixed drink cocktails, and even moonshine in a can ready to rock and roll. For those looking for a refreshing alcohol alternative take a look at Midnight Moon Moonshine! If you want something infused with mood relaxing I’ll elixirs without alchohol we suggest trying some Recess Mood water! For those looking for a refreshing ZERO sugar wine in a can (that doesn’t taste like garbage) try some Bev canned wines!

Board shorts

Easy- go with comfort, fresh styles, and brands that know how to dress a guy for the summer. Our top favorites have to be shorts from BYLT, Bermies, and Tucann shorts!
