The Eco CarbonBlack neoprene used for this hoodie is created from scrap rubber tyres and made with Eco-Softskin technology lining, which is comprised of recycled plastic bottles, then laminated with a solvent-free glue. It is made to last with truly thoughtful and innovative techniques and materials.

TRYING IT OUT
Right out of the packaging and straight into the beach bag for the adventure ahead, our crew took these out to our local lake spot for the ultimate test- where we measured and rated the overall Construction, Material Quality, and Feel/Wearability.
Construction
The construction of both the hoodie and the poncho changing robe were really well made and solidly constructed. The cut lines and room for arms and body was well laid out and fit perfect based on sizing contours. Both the neoprene and polyester components in each were a solid choice considering the elements we wore them in. Overall construction seems solid but not bulky and durable but not too rigid.

Material Quality
Quality is key. So when it comes to the quality we wanted to be sure it would last. When we saw the hoodie was made from recycled materials we thought it would show- but man are these hoodies legit. The material of the hoodie was smooth yet warm and soft. The poncho felt like the best towel we ever held and was perfectly warm for wearing before and after getting into the lake. Perfect feel and fits, and the material was spot on for these items.

Feel/wearability
Here is where the review really takes form. All can be done right but if the feel is off we won’t wear it. The hoodie was perfection for a chill night by the lake and hot day in it. The fit was spot and and it was comfortable when wearing both in and out of the water. The poncho was super cozy after getting out of the water and wearing it by the fire was just perfection.
With regards to sizing, there are sizing ranges based on Small-Large and we went a bit larger for the poncho and more true to size for the hoodie.
Feel/Wearability Rating: 10/10
Our crew dug the lineup and would say they’re one of the more well thought out materials and construction for a brand we have tried out.
