Their Slim Wallet + Removable Carbon Fiber Money Clip is easily our personal favorite of the wallets we reviewed. From the initial opening of the packaging, the wallet’s full grain leather and craftsmanship feels top notch. The military grade carbon fiber money clip is the perfect size, giving security for placing cash inside the clip but doesn’t add bulkiness to the wallet. We were hesitant to believe at first that the main pocket could hold 8 cards as promised- but there was easily plenty of room and the pull system gave easy access those cards instantly without having to pull or dig anywhere else to get the cards out. The outer pocket was perfect for placing an ID and a business card for fast access when needed. After filling the wallet with cards and some cash, we carried it to various spots within our pockets, gear bags, and even clipped to the top of a car visor- each test has zero issues or concerns over cards/money falling out or damage to the wallet. For our needs and uses, this wallet hit on all cylinders and is an instant staff pick.

We were instantly impressed by the Ridge Wallet. The immediate grab for us was the feeling of the 6061-T6 Aluminum that makes up the bulk of the wallet’s construction. Right out of the box it felt durable, sturdy, and just plain awesome. Initial impression was that it was not what we had expected out of a wallet’s construction, but it works and sets a new tone in wallet design. The wallet we tried has the built in money clip giving easy access to cash without having to access the inner card holder. The money clip offers a traditional feel to storing cash. The Ridge has a sleek design and functionality while encouraging keeping less wasted “stuff” in the wallet and only securing the essentials. It’s minimalist approach to the wallet design still gives plenty of carry space for credit cards, ID’s, and cash and is still appealing to many. We love the rugged design and military grade materials used and with the lifetime warranty, you can rest assured this wallet will be with you for life.

When we opened the packaging we immediately thought “slim, sleek, and easy” when it came to describing the wallet. It was designed to keep what you carry to a minimum with no unneeded design points or functions. It is different than other wallets we love because of what it does not include (like a bottle opener or cord connection) but that is not a flaw- it’s an alternative that works in its favor. When inserting cards into the sleeve, simply pull the “pull tab” for quick access to all cards. The wallet comes with not one but two access slots on both front and back, again giving more options within an already slim design. The wallet is constructed with premium, environmentally certified leather (they use hides that are tanned under gold-rated Leather Working Group environmental protocols) and feels sturdy and solid while holding in your pocket or tossing into the gym bag.
