Your Wrist Deserves the Jowissa LeWy Swiss Watch

Get Your Wrist in a Jowissa

There are several different watches out there our crew has had our eyes on in 2021, and one watch recently struck our eyes- the Jowissa LeWy 9 Swiss Mens Watch. Jowissa creates brilliant views with sophisticated light reflections and classic features to elevate any style, look, or vibe. The Jowissa LeWy Swiss 9 with silicone band caught our eye like several other watches featured by Jowissa this year.

Jowissa watches feature elegant metallised watch glasses that cover the entire body and stage finely with decorated dials. This gives Jowissa watches a visual vibrancy that draws attention. In all models, beveled facets also provide brilliant shine - a demanding and rare technique that masters Jowissa with perfection. Our crew got the opportunity to set our sights (and our wrist) on the Lewy to see how it looked and felt on our wrist. While we have reviewed watches in the past, we were pumped to find one with such craftsmanship and rich watch making history.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS

The first thing you notice about this watch is its considerable heft yet smooth feel with the Silicone band. While we won’t call it heavy, when you mount this watch on your wrist you certainly can’t ignore you are wearing it. The undeniable craftsmanship and quality of its components are there. The sturdy clasp and thoughtful design make you feel like you’re wearing something substantial.

As real fashion statement, the Jowissa watch lines raise the bar between timepiece and jewelry. High-quality materials contribute just as much as the individual design approach that Jowissa pursues. Finest leather, shiny ceramic or cool stainless steel are lovingly crafted into wristwatches that combine aesthetics and comfort in an original way. A Jowissa watch wears as well as it looks.

The LeWy 9 Swiss Men’s watch (J7.107.L) has a lot of the features you’d expect from a much pricier watch. It is the inner values give outer beauty truly irresistible charm. Jowissa devotes all aspects of watchmaking to the same care and thoughtful design- carried over for three generations. The Lewy features some stellar components and designs.

Our Initial crew Impression: Excellent craftsmanship and design

TESTING IT OUT

Upon opening the box, we were pleasantly surprised by the care taken in wrapping the watch in protective plastic. Every millimeter of stainless steel, glass and acrylic was coated in a layer of easily removable film.

The watch face inherits a traditional chronograph layout that will be familiar to any watch enthusiast. The sharp, super precise text and tick marks play nicely with the finely-textured face and give the watch an undeniably high-end look.

Interacting with the dials, the instructions were needed to figure out how to adjust time and date- but once we got the hang of it, it was easy to adjust moving forward. The knobs were solid size and easy to manipulate.

The bezel has a reeded edge (much like a quarter) and a very pleasant click upon turning it. In fact, the click is so pleasant, our crew constantly was found turning the bezel to gift the occasional endorphin spike. Don’t judge us, we know our truth.

Overall the feel, weight, look, and manipulation of the dials was really classy yet subtle when needed to be. The band was perfect fit and did not wrap un-even on our wrist. The coloring was perfect and clarity was some of the best we have tested.

BRAND INFO

The Jowissa brand was founded in 1951 in the Swiss town of Bettlach, in a region that has traditionally been renowned for the art of watchmaking. The brand name is derived from the name of the founder, Josef Wyss, whose vision for a new Swiss watch that is both fashionable and a treasured piece of jewellery came at just the right time. The wristwatch became the new accessory of choice in the 1950s, and with the launch of a sophisticated, fashionable, yet affordable watch collection, Jowissa immediately captured the spirit of the age.

The watches of our collection are as individual as the people who wear them. Nevertheless, there are some distinctive features that characterize the Jowissa design language. These include brilliant reflections, high-quality materials, intense colors and Swiss quality.
