INITIAL IMPRESSION
Our initial impression starts off with how these signs are made:
Pretty cool customized process. As you can see, each sign is worked on with a specific focus to ensure you get the perfect sign, every time. Quality here is king. When you first look at the process of making a sign, Sketch and Etch follows their 5 part process each time:
STEP 1 - DESIGN (if you want a custom sign)
Email them your idea and the customer service team will help you design your ideas and share with you, a quote. You’ll receive a mock-up of the neon sign so you can visualize exactly how the final sign will look.
STEP 2 - CREATE
Once you have locked in the final design, the team can get to work cutting the sign from acrylic sheets, laser cut to precisely match your design. This creates the backing where the lights will be fixed.
STEP 3 – CONNECT
Neon makers bend and glue LED strips to the shape that’s been produced. Once the lights are firmly fixed in place, they connect them to a small transformer (similar to one a laptop uses) which is able to plug in to any normal power socket. A very thin clear cable with plenty of length to make sure nothing distracts from the sign’s shine. And boom - just like that a sign is ready and on its way to its new owner.
STEP 4 - DELIVER
To ensure safe travels they package it up using the highest quality of materials to make a sturdy box, so it arrives with you safe and sound. Not to mention, your order has a 24 month warranty so its insured from their door to yours!

STEP 5 - COMPLETE!
The process for our crew to email the design idea was really simple. We simply uploaded our logo, dropped some specs we liked and they immediately responded to us with the next step in the design process.

TESTING IT OUT
If you do not want to custom order via email a specific “logo” or artwork, you can also build a sign with various fonts, colors, and design looks. To get started our crew went to the section that asks what we want our sign to say….we will give ya’ll one hint!
Our crew decided to play around with various fonts, texts, and colors to see what the sign would look like on the wall, before hitting order!
We played around with colors, fonts and sizes to see what variety of the word duuude we wanted to go with. As you can see the artwork customizes the suggested sizing and you can either go with that size or go up and down sizes based on the space and the price you want to pay.
Once you order and have it shipped, you will be able to then install on any wall of your choosing! Each Neon Wall Sign order includes:
