TESTING IT OUT
Now comes the time to get into the process and start brightening up those smiles.
Our crew got our hands and teeth on the whitening kit and ripped open the instructions and included supplies. Really simple to use and get started- we brushed our teeth, grabbed a serum tube, and applied it to both the top and bottom teeth (all the front facing visible ones and some side peepers as well).
***duuude tip- the instructions don’t say how to get the serum to come out of the top tip, but you simply need to click the bottom of the tube in a clockwise fashion to push the serum to the top.
Once the serum was loaded, we painted our teeth like Picasso painted The Weeping Woman- ok, maybe not that detailed but we applied the serum to each tooth (not the backs since only our tongue sees that part)
Once the serum was applied we grabbed the LED plug in device that fits like one of the mouth guards you have to mold to your teeth- this one was way more comfortable by the way. We simply placed the mouth piece in and plugged it directly into the bottom of our phone (there are actually 3 different plug in options for iPhones, androids, and general usb plugs.
Then the lights turned on! (On the mouth piece of course). Timer set for 10 minutes (you can do 10-30 minutes at a time depending on how long you want to shine those puppies up).
Then we waited. After 10 minutes we took the mouth piece out, rinsed it off and washed our mouth out with water (hold the soap). Within seconds of raising our heads to the mirror and smiling we noticed our teeth were ever so slightly whiter. They were not too bad to begin with (we compared our coloring on the included teeth color tracking chart) and made note of the color differences and date we started.
Over the next few days, we continued the process of whitening for 10 minutes at a time (some crew members increased their times to 20 and 30 minute intervals).
After a few treatments we noticed our teeth were drastically whiter and brighter. No sensitivity issues and there was no gross or weird flavor from the serum when we applied it (you naturally swallow during treatments and we didn’t feel like we were drinking chemicals).
