Grooming Lounge Lineup: Your skin deserves this.
Smelling good never felt so, well, good!
We aren’t saying our hair care style game was or is off. And we are not saying our hair wasn’t already thick and luscious like a freshly rained on forest. But, when we were introduced to the Grooming Lounge line of products, our hair, face, and off-limits areas were blown away with the level of elevated swagger we found ourselves now in.
GROOMING LOUNGE
When we were in high school it was all about the Suave line of products. Maybe Irish Spring soap, and if we thought we’d be getting lucky in college we would hit the pits and neither-regions with some Axe body spray. Those days are dead. For good reason. Finding a quality line of men’s grooming products like shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and even deodorant can be hard to settle on because of the absorbent amount of products out there. Our crew got our hands (and hair) on the lineup from The Grooming Lounge and took it to the testing lab (aka shower) for 30 days- the result? No spoilers here.
INITIAL IMPRESSION
Our crew first popped open the box of grooming goods from the Grooming Lounge and found the full lineup needed to rock the shower game. Products from Shampoo/Conditioners, to Bar Soaps, Face Washes and even products for the ole nether-regions. The kit had all and everything any guy/duuude would want.
The lineup of offerings by Grooming Lounge is top notch. The packaging, labels, bottle sizes, and vibe had us geeking out over body care (which is hard to do). The sheer variety of products that are offered and come with the brand far exceeded our expectations. The smells from each product were refreshing, not too overpowering, and smelled clean yet fancy (try pulling that off with generic store bought garbage). The Grooming Lounge hits on all cylinders with the target demographic and we are diggin’ what we are finding already.

For 30 days our crew tested out the products to compare the prior results before using the Grooming Lounge and after. While after the 30 days, we still had product left (you get quite the amount with each order which we like), we did no have any lingering doubt out the legitimacy of these products.
Shampoo + Conditioner

Tingles Like A Mother
The shampoo and the conditioner both rocked. The smell of the shampoo was distinct yet refreshing and the conditioner was soft but not too weak. The texture of both were smooth and left out hair feeling refreshed and clean- but not stripped away like other hair products we have tried. The tingling was expected and welcome and the after effects left out hair feeling fuller. No joke we could noticeably tell the difference between the prior go-to stuff at Target and this 1-2 punch.

Bar Soap

Full of lather
Soap is Soap they said. Yeah ok ya big freakin’ liars. No soap is created equal and this Black Pepper Body Bar is the only soap we want to use. When we first read “Black Pepper” we thought the Grooming Lounge mixed up a packaging label. But, much to our delight they did not mess up- rather they stepped up the bar soap game. The lather felt sensational, the soothing feeling of the soap and the shea butter softness was pure magic. The only downside is we are out of soap. It has been rather stinky around here. Please. Send. Help.

Deodorant

It’s hero ingredient is Eucalyptus Oil, which boasts anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties
• Deo also has plenty of Citronellyl Methylcrotonate, which is awesome at neutralizing odors
• Contains no alcohol or aluminum, ingredients that scare some armpits
• Keeps a gent (or a lady) smelling fresh and clean all day
• Doesn’t stain clothing like deodorants further back on the “charts”
• It was designed for sensitive skin
• Offers a fresh and cooling sensation upon application
We are natural (natural) skeptics. We always have had this vision that if we used anything other than our lifelong go-to’s arm pit regiment, we’d turn into people who lived in the top of a tree (not that there is anything wrong with that). But, when we tried the Greatest Pits mix, we were shocked. It actually reduced odor, kept stains off our nice shirts (psst we review those too), and did not irritate our skin like some other brands we tried (no name shame here). No stinky-ness here. That is the way we like it.

We. Are. In. Love. The Mug Scrubber is one of our favorite products in this review that we tested. The little magical beads in the mix are hard at work (we swear we can feel each one taking junk off our skin). After a long day, rubbing a dime size amount over our faces (and into our beards) helped to improve our skin softness and appearance- no doubt. We swear we felt dirt being pulled away from our skin and into the drain- where it belongs.
