Tame the Mane with Aberlite

Come to find out (after using the Aberlite) we needed this a long long time ago (cue Star Wars intro music). Our crew got a hold of this magic wand and put it to the test to see if it could tame the mane.
INITIAL IMPRESSION
For starters lets all direct our eyes towards this fancy video from Aberlite:
As you can see, our crew had to find out if our beards could be softer and neater in just two minutes like Aberlite says. Less damage to hair an pain-free they say? Sign us up for some of that. Right out the box the Aberlite Beard Pro was sleek and flat out cool. Our first thought was it looked eerily similar to the lady friends’ hair straighter, but when you boil it down to practically, for all intents and purposes, its a similar concept- but for duuudes…and way cooler (sorry ladies). The all black, sleek beard comb comes in hot with its smooth handle, slim design, and simple/easy to navigate LED display. Temperature control up or back down lets you know how hot the 4-column bristles will get. The wand has a 360 degree rotating chord and word on the street is is 25% smaller than the other beard combs out there (not fact checked but we believe it).
The wand is really lightweight and the size of the beard comb portion looked to be able to cover a good amount of beard real-estate. Right out of the box, the beard comb was fresh and legit.

TESTING IT OUT
Now lets get after it- testing out the Aberlite Pro Beard Straightener was really solid. We plugged in the comb and the LED illuminates to show you the various temperature settings and the “status” of the comb. It initially says “OFF” so you know things are not cooking quite yet. With a simple button push the LED indicator tells you the 8 temperature increments you can go up to- 400 degrees in fact.
We first started out with a 360 degree temperature setting. We simply set it and watched the rapid heat indicator show the temperature hitting the full 360 within a matter of moments. One neat way we found to easily set the comb up for use was to plug hit, set the temp, jump in the shower and when done the comb is hot and ready. Oh- and if you take a 21 min shower, your comb turns off for safety. Try to keep showers under 20 min. fellas- ain’t nobody needs to be in there that long.
At 360 degrees the comb did an ok job- for a really long beard. We noticed that the higher temperature settings really do the best for longer and more coarse beards. When we cranked the temperature to 400 degrees and tried it out, the beard straighter was simply magic. The tightly spaced 4-column bristles griped our entire beard (both short hair and long/coarse beard hair).
With just a few passes over our beards, the hair(s) became less like a frayed rope line and more uniform in structure and overall look. The comb brought the sides, front, underside, and overall shape into a more clean and uniform line look. Smooth passing of the comb made for an enjoyable expereince and did not pull or tug at any hairs. Moving downward, sideways, even uppercut fashion all gave the beard both straightening effects as well as added styling capabilities. The 400 degree temperature did not burn our beard (even fresh out of the shower and wet) and only took a few moments to see a noticeable difference in the beard appearance.
We found ourselves going back a few times throughout the day using the beard comb because it is just that easy and dope to use. We had our reservations that it would be as effective as it was- and we were over-impressed.
