Land & Lore’s ingredients have been trusted since ancient times, and science continues to unlock new ways of using them, increasing their efficacy, and ultimately improving your skin. It's science in service of nature – science that nurtures – just how it should be. Land & Lore simple skincare products are made with natural ingredients rooted in ancient history.
Once we dove into the simple lineup of skincare products, we found ourselves wanting to try them all but not knowing where to start. So, we landed on the grabbing the Facial Cleanser and Moisturizer. With all sorts of ways to approach, we thought lets clean and moisturize. Sounds like a great place to kick things off.

TESTING IT OUT
No better way to test out a skincare lineup than heading to the bathroom…
For 30 days our crew tested out the products to compare the prior results before using the Land & Lore and after. While after the 30 days, we barely had product left (you get quite the amount with each order which we like), we did not have any lingering doubt out the legitimacy of these products.

This facial cleanser works double time to both clean and restore faces of all skin types. Packed with natural nutrients, it’s designed to gently cleanse the impurities of today and restore for tomorrow—even for those who aren’t exactly gentle on their skin. Whether your day is spent at a desk, in the sun, or anywhere in between, this carefully crafted blend heals your skin’s protein structure and moisturizes for the perfect balance of strong, yet soft complexion.
After about 3-5 days we started noticing a real difference. Primarily used in the shower while washing our faces (no we don’t shower as a crew that is weird), most of the crew noticed the skin starting to feel a bit softer to the touch. Not so oily or “rough” feeling if that makes sense. Some crew members have beards and they even washed the beard with it- worked like a charm. The earthy finish is perfect, not too bold but subtle enough to know it’s there.
It is rather cold where we are based and we felt like our skin was better able to handles the cold winds and outdoor life we love to enjoy!

Unlike lotions with artificial ingredients that cause blackheads and leave your skin feeling oily, this blend absorbs easily into your skin, working the same way our bodies do naturally. This deeper absorption helps restore elasticity in your skin, too. It’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to work too hard to find their complexion’s hydration sweet spot between rainforest and desert.
Ok this was the jam. We often have a good cleaner for skin on hand, but not a moisturizer that really feels like it helps restore our skin. We are not only an office-based crew. We are active with outdoor sports, activities, and even do some work outdoors! So, when we started applying this to our skin we could see why it’s so popular. It really does have a restorative feel to it, our skin has never looked better, and we feel better when looking at the crew in the mirror. We dug the non-greasy feeling and the all-day long last of this moisturizer.

Land & Lore founder, Mark Hasebroock, saw other guys like him in the skincare aisle at the big box store. Most of them stood squinting at the hundreds of choices on the shelf. Some grabbed the cheapest option and kept moving. Others would give up when faced with the too-complicated world of men’s skincare.
Land & Lore, based in Omaha, Nebraska is straightforward and effective. And simple. The line launches with six products made with ingredients derived from the land paired with the power of modern technology.

We worked with a team of chemists to develop the product, which is free of common toxic ingredients, such as aluminum, mineral oil, parabens, polyethylene glycol, diethanolamine, monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, phthalates, siloxanes, sodium laurel sulfate, triclosan and synthetic fragrances, among others we didn’t use.
