Redefine your Drink Game with Haus

Cocktail Hour Never Tasted So Smooth.

Yo- the weather is getting better and one thing we all know that goes with any warm or summer day is a refreshing cocktail. Haus has come out with cocktails like never seen before and this Sonoma County grape harvesting brand has what you need. Made with real fruits, herbs, and botanicals, Haus just might be redefining the alcohol industry. With better-for-you, unique flavors that are delicious on their own (or in a cocktail), Haus’s low-alcohol aperitifs elevate any cocktail hour (and will leave you feeling better the next day).

One of the Haus founders discovered apéritifs while living in Berlin, where he experienced a different type of drinking culture. People weren’t drinking to get drunk, they were focused on connections and being present. United States is a little late to the game while apéritifs have been popular in Europe for centuries. They have the flavor complexity of a cocktail, but are low enough in alcohol - stronger than wine, lighter than whiskey - that you can enjoy them all evening (or afternoon).

Our crew wanted to get our hands (and tastebuds) on some Haus beverages ourselves.

Our initial duuude impression: Lets get to making some Cocktails!

TESTING IT OUT

Ok now that our crew has our lineup of cocktails to try, we dove into the box to see what the flavor was all about. When we initially opened the box, we sort of were confused. Do we mix them, do we drink them over ice, do we make a cocktail? The answer is YES. To ALL of it.

Haus Spirit:

3 Parts Haus+ Splash of Hard Liquor

Our first go was to try the Haus Spirit. Here we mixed up the variety with a few of our favorite hard liquors: Bourbon, Vodka, Brandy, and headed to the back patio. What a cool concept and use of our favorite blends. The flavors all mixed well, and the subtle yet distinct profile came through each sip.

Haus Spritz:

2 Parts Haus+1 Part Soda Water+1 Part Prosecco+Lemon

We have not had a drink like this. But now we are glad we did. The spritz was something we thought wouldnt go well- but we were wrong. The difference mixed options are endless. Lemon fan? go for it. Like a bit more bite? Toss in the jalapeño. The cool part is no matter the flavor preferences of your crew, there is a mix for everyone.

On the Rocks:

Pop n’ Pour

By far our crew’s favorite way to enjoy Haus. The flavors are by no means overpowering, and the flavor of each blends slightly comes through. We find that to be perfect because you don’t feel like your drinking a juice box and it also packs the punch needed to carry the night through. The citrus varieties are by far the biggest hit, but the spicy options too were great for those into a bit of a kick. Legit smooth flavor, finish, and guess what…NO A.M. HANGOVER!

It all started with alcohol, an industry that hasn’t evolved since prohibition. It’s still ruled by huge liquor companies that spend big to get their products on store shelves and in bars.
