Beanie Hats for Every Climate

Beanie’s for EVERY Climate?

We’ve all seen the guys walking around with a bit of gentle facial hair and a lovely knit beanie on top. We’ve all disliked that guy, because he’s generally hot and we wish that we could be that guy. The truth is that we can all be that guy. Beanies are incredibly easy to wear and make every guy look great, especially guys with a bit of facial hair, and especially in winter. Don’t be the guy sporting a beanie in the summer. Do be the guy who shows up with a beanie and a cup of coffee in the winter. Don’t be jealous of hot guys, get the hot guy look for yourself. Here are some of our picks for great beanies to sport this fall and winter season.

Patagonia’s Brodeo Beanie

Patagonia makes killer sustainable fashion for all the outdoorsy types. They also make a great beanie with a great name: the Brodeo Beanie. Reasonably priced and brand name, the Brodeo Beanie will send the message that you’re a guy who loves hiking and cares about nature. It’s a great message to send, honestly. It comes in a bunch of colors to satisfy any skin tone or outfit craving.

It’s made of 70% wool with some polyester and nylon, giving you that great beanie stretch without making it fit too tightly. It’ll keep your ears and head warm in the winter. Make sure you grow your hair a bit to have some locks peeking out from underneath.

Price: $35

Nordstrom’s Cashmere Knit Cap

The Nordstrom’s Cashmere Knit Cap is for those men who need something a little more night on the town and a little less granola and hiking. This cashmere beanie can easily make the transition from football game to dive bar downtown without looking out of place. It’s cashmere but isn’t too fancy to be seen out and about. Luxury without screaming it, but if people ask about the beanie, then you get to brag.

It’s a great piece for any wardrobe. It only comes in black, which is honestly the only color you would need it in.

Price: $69.95

Timberland Beanie

If you’ve already got the Tims, why not get the Timberland Beanie to match? Just don’t wear them at the same time. One Tims item at a time is plenty. Comes in a soft brown or darker navy.

It’s also the most affordable beanie on this list, costing you only $20 a pop. Don’t overpay for a head covering. If the beanie is about function over fashion for you, then you can’t go wrong with the Timberland Beanie. Looks like it popped right out of a magazine with a man chopping wood.

Price: $20-$25

Embroidered Dragons Beanie by Urban Outfitters

Yes, we also noticed the problem you’re noticing. The other beanies didn’t have any dragons on them. Meanwhile, the Embroidered Dragons Beanie that Urban Outfitters sells has plenty of the little winged creatures.

UA Beanie

It’s a beanie that’s a bit more fierce. It isn’t like anything else in your closet. Pair with a simple black t-shirt and whitewash jeans for a quiet outfit that works in any context. A little bit spunk and a little bit fierce.

So while it may be summer when you read this, Beanies can be worn all year round if you nab the right style, material, and wear correctly.
