We first tested CUTS Clothing shirts back in 2020- over 3 years ago. Fast forward 3 years, hundreds of date nights, endless office meetings, and several casual Sunday’s later these shirts still look and fit just as well as they did when we first un-boxed these shirts. With over 1000 washes- we can confidently say these shirts will outlive us.
Guys have forever wanted a soft, buttery feeling shirt they can wear to the office or out on the town. If the new year taught us anything (well, it taught us a lot), it at least showed us that the apparel you wear when working from home or heading into the office CAN be the same: with CUTS Clothing, these options are now available. “Shirts are shirts”- said no duuude ever. Sure you can nab a shirt from a chain store at $15 and it can get the job done (*cough* sometimes), or you could nab a high quality shirt like the ones Cuts Clothing makes and feel like a million bucks. No these shirts don’t come with a million dollar price tag, but after you try one on for the first time, you’d find yourself asking: “how the flip do they make these shirts so comfortable” and NOT cost an arm and a leg? We don’t know everything that Cuts has in their lab, but we do know these shirts are designed with any guy in mind- making it quite the universal hit.
Our crew wanted to try on some of the shirts offered by Cuts Clothing so we nabbed a few varieties and took them out on the town for the ultimate duuude review.

Yes. We think the value of these shirts are worth every penny. We have spent less on other shirts that do not hold their color or shape as well in the wash.

Shipping is relatively fast. We have seen them arrive within a week of ordering.

We have yet to need to iron one of these shirts. Fresh out the dryer or air-dried, these shirts retain their smooth and buttery soft appearance.
INITAL IMPRESSIONS
When our crew connected with the crew from Cuts we asked to try some of their staple designs for the review. Within a few days, the Cuts Clothing box was sitting at our door ready to be tested. Our crew opened the box to find 4 shirts and a hoodie- all with different style cuts.
For those who are not yet familiar with Cuts Clothing, they offer 3 “Cuts” on the top and 3 “Cuts” on the bottom. These include Crew Neck, V-Neck, and Henley. The bottom cuts include Classic, Split, and Elongated. Now that y’all know how the shirts are shaped, we can keep this party going.

Right out of the box these shirts were a hit. The smooth feel of the shirt and the weight of the shirt was on point. Not too thick and not so thin- just the right balance of texture and cut. The material felt like butter and the quality was clear right in the sew and stitch lines. The lengths, fit, tailored look, and feel on our hands/bodies was something we couldn’t get enough of. These shirts are dope. Heck, even the box is cool!
Our initial duuude impression: so freaking soft it is like wearing a cloud.
TRYING THEM OUT
Initial go at the shirts were a hit. But now the real test- how does the shirt hold up against the elements? No, we are not talking blizzard, winter storm, climbing Mount Everest kinda elements- we are talking the key focus points that any shirt wearing guy wants to know about: Construction, Material Quality, and Feel/Wearability.
Construction
The Cuts shirts are constructed with only the best fabrics. Featuring the custom PYCA™️ fabric, this material rivals its competition. The overall comfort of the shirt hands down is seen in the sewing lines, the “cut”, and the texture of the material. The stitching lines were clean and strong adding to the construction crushing game going on with these shirts! The hoodie was warm and had a durable construction to both the pull chords and the entire cut.
Construction Rating: 9/10
Material Quality
Quality is key. When it comes to the material used in shirt, the quality can be a difference maker. We’ve all had that shirt you washed once after wearing it and it shrunk a size after and never looked the same. Hate that. On the other hand, the quality found in these shirts are some of the most comfortable and durable at the same time. We washed it like the care instructions say and guess what?- the shirt looks and feels the same as it did day one! Mind blown.
Material Rating: 9/10
Feel/wearability
Here is where the rubber meets the road- or in this case the shirt meets the skin. Huh? Whatever, look, the feel of a shirt matters. Our crew tossed on each shirt and wore them out and about. From casual wear, to dressing it up for a night out- the shirt wore great. People literally stopped us and asked who were we wearing. We felt our 15 min of Red Carpet fame- and then reverted back to just some regular dudes. The shirt fit great. The arms, chest, and waist all proportionally fit the same and there were zero areas where the fit could have adjusted better. We wore the shirt as a casual look and also out in a more dressier look and all went great.
With regards to sizing, you can check out the FAQ or Sizing Guide offered by Cuts Clothing to find the right size as the shirts tend to run a bit snug/form fitting. Our crew for the most part are in the 6 foot tall range and typically wear a medium- we suggest going to a Large for some added room but if snug and firm fitting is your style a medium would do the trick!
Feel/Wearability Rating: 10/10
Our crew dug the shirts and would say they’re one of the more comfortable shirts and hoodies we have ever tested.
STANDOUT FEATURES
What stands out to most does not always stand out to all- for us, some of the standout features that we found with Cuts Clothing was the “Shop by Cut” feature. The ability to mix and match cuts is a game changer. The variety of top and bottom styles gives you the option of going casual, more sophisticated, or even more relaxed than other shirt varieties out there.
